Another senior executive and long-time Corel employee has jumped ship.
Carey Stanton, executive vice-president of business development and legal affairs, will be leaving Corel to pursue other opportunities, the company said in a statement.
Stanton worked at Corel for nine years. He was responsible for managing all acquisitions, divestitures and licensing transactions for Corel's entire product line, developing strategic alliances and managing the legal department.
In December, three top executives left the company in nine days. VP of sales and marketing Jim Orban, VP of OEM sales Kevin McNeil and CFO Michael O'Reilly all resigned.
The O'Reilly resignation in particular didn't sit well with investors. Toronto-based fund manager Duncan Stewart described the resignation as a disaster.
"One of the reasons I owned Corel stock was Mike O'Reilly," Stewart told ROBTv at the time.
